Interview Tips & Tricks

  • Research the company first. Know what they do, who their clients are, and why you want to work there specifically — not just "I need a job."
  • Prepare 2-3 stories using the STAR method (Situation, Task, Action, Result) for common prompts like "tell me about a time you solved a problem" or "describe a conflict with a coworker."
  • Arrive 10-15 minutes early — for in-person interviews in Georgetown or elsewhere, factor in traffic; for virtual interviews, log in 5 minutes early to test your connection.
  • Bring printed copies of your CV and any certifications, even if you already applied online.
  • Prepare 2-3 questions to ask them — about the role, the team, or what success looks like in the first 90 days. Not asking anything can read as disinterest.
  • Follow up within 24 hours with a short thank-you email reaffirming your interest.
