Privacy Policy

talent.gy is operated by VR Staffing Solutions LLC. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information. By using the Platform, you consent to the practices described here.

Candidates:

• Name, email address, phone number, location
• Employment history, education, skills, and bio
• CV/resume files and profile photos
• Job application history and status

Employers:

• Company name, contact email, website
• Job posting content
• Subscription and billing information

All users:

• Login credentials (passwords are encrypted and never stored in plaintext)
• Usage data (pages visited, actions taken) for platform improvement
• IP address (used for security and rate limiting)

• To operate the Platform and provide its features
• To match candidates with employers
• To send transactional emails (account verification, application updates, password resets)
• To process subscription payments (employers)
• To improve platform performance and security
• To comply with legal obligations

talent.gy uses the Anthropic Claude API to power the Resume Builder and Job Description Generator features. When you use these features, the content you submit is processed by Anthropic’s systems in accordance with their privacy policy (anthropic.com/privacy). We do not use your personal data to train AI models. AI-generated content is not permanently stored beyond what is necessary to deliver the feature.

Candidate profiles are visible to verified employers on the Platform, subject to the unlock system. Your name and photo are anonymized to unverified or non-paying employers until they unlock your profile. You control your visibility via the “Show my profile to employers” setting on your profile page.

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with:

• Service providers necessary to operate the Platform (Anthropic for AI features, Resend for email delivery, our hosting provider)
• Law enforcement when required by Guyanese law

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you request account deletion (by contacting admin@talent.gy), your data will be permanently deleted within 60 days. CV files and profile photos are deleted along with your account.

We take reasonable technical measures to protect your data, including encrypted passwords, secure HTTPS connections, authenticated file access, and regular security audits. No system is completely secure; please use a strong, unique password for your account.

We use secure session cookies to keep you logged in. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. We do not share session data with third parties.

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Correct inaccurate information via your profile settings
• Request deletion of your account and data (contact admin@talent.gy)
• Withdraw consent to data processing (note: this may limit your ability to use the Platform)

talent.gy is not intended for users under 16 years of age. If we become aware that a user is under 16, their account will be removed.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email. Continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance.
